A new directly managed company store has opened at the Imperial Hotel Tokyo, where you can see the machines used by craftsmen used to create the whole hand-woven lineup. Please drop in and check out “kuska fabric” to get a real feel for the textile manufacturing of Tango/Kyoto.

Imperial Hotel Tokyo: Established in 1983 with the completion of the Imperial Hotel, this commercial facility is operated by this prestigious hotel itself.

It is here where we have opened the Kyoto/Tango textiles kuska fabric factory shop. Founded originally in 1936 as a workshop manufacturing Tango silk crepe, we now manufacture all kuska fabric products here on location. Tours to see our workshop and hand-weaving by craftsmen are available if you contact us in advance. Please come to our factory shop to check out all our items, almost as good as a trip to the Tango region itself.
